What the included basic set-up covers and what you would pay extra for
TriNed concentrates on fibre, with symmetric tiers that reach multi-gigabit on suitable networks. Its own technicians do the basic installation: router and optical equipment, fibre cleaning, a speed measurement and a Wi-Fi check. Drilling, arbitrary home-network configuration and connecting every device fall under extended work.

What sets TriNed apart, how its offers are put together and what renters should know before choosing it.
TriNed concentrates on fibre and offers symmetric 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps tiers on suitable networks. A basic installation by its own technicians is part of the offer, which is useful if you do not want to configure the connection yourself. Basic installation is not the same as rewiring the whole home: its support information distinguishes extended installation and additional work. A public IP address is an optional paid service in the consumer FAQ, not something to assume from the business products. Network-specific promotions exist, so obtain the offer for the actual address rather than applying a local campaign nationally.
The consumer support list includes installing the router and optical equipment, fibre cleaning and signal checks, a speed measurement and a Wi-Fi check. Extended work is a different service. Vertical drilling, arbitrary home-network configuration and connecting every household device are not included simply because the basic installation is free.
All 3 TriNed plans we track, grouped by connection type and ordered from the slowest to the fastest tier. Each plan shows the monthly price, download and upload speed and the contract term. Open a plan for the fine print and the cost over your stay, or add it to a comparison.

Points from TriNed's own terms and tariff pages that are easy to miss and can change what you pay or how quickly you get connected.
Check your postcode and house number: availability depends on the individual address.
Its support information asks for at least four weeks’ notice. Check the new address first, because a different network can change the available offer and installation work. A fibre point in the old home is not portable equipment; coordinate the actual delivery appointment before cancelling any temporary connection.

The consumer FAQ lists a public IP as an optional €2.50-per-month service requested through support. Do not import the static-address features of TriNed’s business plans into a consumer comparison. If you need incoming connections, ask about the exact address type and router configuration before ordering. The exact monthly price needs a quotation for this address. Ask for an internet-only order summary showing the service amount, any network contribution, the router arrangement and the initial contract period. This lets you compare the actual offer with a fully priced alternative instead of relying on another postcode’s starting price.

Every link to the device must support the intended speed: the fibre terminal, router’s WAN and LAN ports, any switch, the network adapter and cabling. A 1 Gbps Ethernet port limits one wired device even when the subscription is faster. A multi-gigabit plan can also share capacity across several devices; it does not promise that one phone will achieve the full advertised rate over Wi-Fi.
Compare the minimum term first, then the cancellation notice, activation costs, installation timing and equipment return conditions. A low promotional month can be poor value if it requires a year or two of payments. A monthly option is only useful when the connection can actually be activated during your stay; ask for the start date and any one-off charges before ordering.
