Find my internet planIntroductory versus regular price, upload speed, installation and cancellation
A low advertised monthly price only tells part of the story. Line up the plans you are considering to see introductory and regular prices, the cost over the minimum term, download and upload speeds, installation, equipment and cancellation in one view, then judge the whole contract instead of the headline figure.
The comparison prices every plan over this period, including introductory discounts, one-off fees, router rental and the minimum term.

How totals work
A cheap monthly price can still be the expensive choice once setup costs and the minimum term are counted. The comparison adds up four things for the period you choose, so a monthly cancellable plan, a discounted two-year deal and a plan with a separate network fee can be compared on one number.
The regular price plus router rental and any network fee billed separately, for every month you pay.
Discounted months are counted at the lower price, but only for as long as the offer lasts.
Activation, installation and equipment bought upfront are added once, at the start.
If the contract runs longer than your stay, the remaining months are counted, because leaving early usually means paying them.
Questions
How to compare offers fairly and avoid surprises once the contract starts.
Compare the total cost over the months you will live at the address, not the headline monthly price. Then check upload as well as download speed, the contract term, installation and the router. The comparison table shows all of these side by side.
Because introductory discounts lower the first months, while activation, installation and router rental add to the start. A minimum term longer than your stay also adds the months you would still have to pay.
They can be, if you stay long enough. A discount on the first months often comes with a one- or two-year contract, so on a short lease a slightly more expensive monthly plan can work out cheaper overall.
Most providers charge the remaining months of the minimum term when you cancel early, although some make exceptions, for example when moving to an address they cannot serve. Check the cancellation terms before signing.
Providers pay different amounts to the networks they use and package routers, installation and support differently. Even one provider can price the same speed differently depending on the network at your address.
The guided finder asks a few questions about your household and length of stay, then points to options worth comparing. To begin from a wider list instead, use the search filters.
