Simpel: symmetric fibre in a short menu of tiers, with prices that depend on the access network

How terms, access network and campaigns combine in the final price

Simpel keeps the menu small, with a few symmetric tiers from entry level up to gigabit on one- or two-year terms. Each speed has two regular prices depending on the access network, and a one-year term adds a small monthly supplement. Promotional offers can be alternatives rather than cumulative, and new customers get technician installation.

About Simpel home internet

What sets Simpel apart, how its offers are put together and what renters should know before choosing it.

Simpel’s fibre internet uses a small set of symmetric tiers—100, 500 and 1,000 Mbps—with one- and two-year contract choices. Its tariff publishes two regular prices per speed depending on the access network, and a one-year term adds €1 a month. The current campaign offers either a €1 introductory period or cashback, not both together. The modem is supplied on loan, while extra Wi-Fi points are a monthly add-on. New-customer installation is a technician service in the tariff; the existence of self-installation instructions for moving equipment does not make that initial visit optional.

The order presents them as alternatives. The €1 introduction lasts three months with a one-year term or six months with a two-year term; cashback must not be subtracted again from that same example. Network-dependent regular prices still apply after the introduction. Use the final order’s chosen promotion and expiry conditions.

Simpel questions answered

Answers to the questions people ask most about Simpel home internet, from installation and equipment to contracts and moving house.

What kind of home internet does Simpel offer?

Simpel’s fibre internet uses a small set of symmetric tiers—100, 500 and 1,000 Mbps—with one- and two-year contract choices. Its tariff publishes two regular prices per speed depending on the access network, and a one-year term adds €1 a month. The current campaign offers either a €1 introductory period or cashback, not both together. The modem is supplied on loan, while extra Wi-Fi points are a monthly add-on. New-customer installation is a technician service in the tariff; the existence of self-installation instructions for moving equipment does not make that initial visit optional.

How should I compare Simpel prices?

Simpel’s €1 introductory campaign and €250 cashback are alternative offers, not cumulative savings. With the €1 choice, a one-year term has three introductory months and a two-year term has six. The standard one-year monthly tariff is also €1 higher than the corresponding two-year amount. Compare both the remaining regular-price months and the mandatory installation, not just the first bill. The exact monthly price needs a quotation for this address. Ask for an internet-only order summary showing the service amount, any network contribution, the router arrangement and the initial contract period. This lets you compare the actual offer with a fully priced alternative instead of relying on another postcode’s starting price.

Can I combine Simpel’s €1 offer with €250 cashback?

The order presents them as alternatives. The €1 introduction lasts three months with a one-year term or six months with a two-year term; cashback must not be subtracted again from that same example. Network-dependent regular prices still apply after the introduction. Use the final order’s chosen promotion and expiry conditions.

Why is installation charged if Simpel has a self-help guide?

The new-customer tariff requires a basic technician installation, listed at €75. The self-help pages also explain reconnecting equipment after moving it and installing extra Wi-Fi points. Those later tasks do not waive the initial installation requirement. Activation is a separate item: its current campaign waiver is not the same as free technician installation.

Is Simpel’s modem mine to keep?

No. It is supplied on loan without an extra monthly modem charge and must be returned when the subscription ends. Extra Wi-Fi points are a different monthly service, listed at €2.50 per point in the tariff. Compare how many points you need and whether the home’s cabling allows a better router location first.

What should I compare if I only need internet for a few months?

Compare the minimum term first, then the cancellation notice, activation costs, installation timing and equipment return conditions. A low promotional month can be poor value if it requires a year or two of payments. A monthly option is only useful when the connection can actually be activated during your stay; ask for the start date and any one-off charges before ordering.

Will a faster subscription fix weak Wi-Fi?

Not necessarily. The subscription controls capacity to the router; walls, distance, interference and the receiving device affect the wireless connection inside the home. Compare a wired speed test with a Wi-Fi test near the router before paying for a higher tier. A better router position, an Ethernet cable or correctly placed mesh points can address a different bottleneck from the internet subscription.
