Own router or rental, and why campaigns differ by territory
RapidXS pairs internet-only fibre with a fixed IP, and you can use your own router or rent one. Campaigns aren't uniform: the standard ODF offer, former E-Fiber areas and GlasDraad differ in introductory terms, and router rental can carry its own, so calculate the line and the equipment separately.

What sets RapidXS apart, how its offers are put together and what renters should know before choosing it.
RapidXS offers internet-only fibre with a fixed IP and the choice of your own router or optional rental. Its campaigns differ by territory: the standard ODF offer, former E-Fiber areas and Glasdraad do not have the same introductory prices or discount periods. There are also two separate promotional clocks: an internet discount and the first three free months of router rental. Compare activation and optional technician charges alongside the one-year subscription, and do not apply a campaign from another network simply because the headline speed is the same gigabit.
Not necessarily. The ODF and former E-Fiber offers have four discounted internet months, while the staged Glasdraad offer has three. Optional router rental is separately free for three months and then €3 monthly. Calculate the line and equipment phases independently, and use the right territory’s regular price.
The public information lists €49.95 activation, optional technician installation at €75 and an optional router purchase at €150. Buying and renting a router are alternatives, not costs to add together automatically. Whether a visit is needed can depend on your own equipment and the existing network termination. Confirm the installation route before comparing a one-year total.

RapidXS sells its plans over these networks. The network at your address can change the speed, the price and the installation of the same plan.

Compare the minimum term first, then the cancellation notice, activation costs, installation timing and equipment return conditions. A low promotional month can be poor value if it requires a year or two of payments. A monthly option is only useful when the connection can actually be activated during your stay; ask for the start date and any one-off charges before ordering.
Download is used when receiving files or streams; upload is used for cloud backups, sending large files and your outgoing video during calls. A symmetric fibre tier advertises the same rate in both directions. Compare the two figures separately: a gigabit cable download does not imply a gigabit upload, and a higher headline download alone does not show how quickly a household can send data.
The physical network brings the connection into the building. Your retail provider supplies the subscription, router arrangements and customer service. On an open network you may be able to choose several providers, but their prices, available speeds and installation arrangements can differ on the same fibre. A network name on the connection box does not automatically identify the company that should bill you for internet.
