Oss
Oss lies east of 's-Hertogenbosch on the same railway and motorway corridor, a regional town of pharma industry, village cores and open polder and woodland on its edges.
- Easy commute
- Quieter
- Green and outdoors
Oss and 's-Hertogenbosch share the Tilburg–Nijmegen railway, with Sprinters from both Oss and Oss West, an Intercity at Oss station, and a full motorway between the two towns. Someone who works in Den Bosch can therefore live in Oss, and Nijmegen stays within reach the other way. Oss has work of its own too: the pharmaceutical sector, led by Organon, is the largest employer, alongside industrial names such as Unox and Heesen Yachts.

Oss is a regional town with a shopping centre of squares and shopping streets, districts such as Schadewijk, Ruwaard and Krinkelhoek, and village cores like Berghem, Geffen and Lith inside the same municipality. Where Den Bosch is built around a fortified old town, Oss has an everyday regional centre, with housing spread across neighbourhoods and villages and the countryside never far away: woods on the sandy ridge to the south, polder to the north.
