Download and upload are different numbers
Download is what you receive; upload is what you send in video calls and backups. Fibre is often symmetric, cable upload is much lower.
Filter by provider, speed, connection type and contract length
Already know roughly what you need? Use the filters to cut a long list of plans down to the ones that match your speed, connection type and minimum term. Each plan leads on to its provider's details and to the comparison view, and the provider's own postcode and house-number check settles what can be installed at your address.

Reading a plan
Internet offers in the Netherlands look simple, a speed and a monthly price, but the details decide what you really pay and how happy you will be. These four points explain the numbers on every plan card and in the plan details, so you can compare glasvezel, kabel and DSL offers on equal terms.

Discounted first months end. Look at the regular monthly price, which is what you pay for most of your contract.
One- and two-year contracts are cheaper per month but harder to leave. On a short lease, a monthly plan can cost less overall.
Activation, installation and router rental come on top of the monthly price. The plan details and the comparison include them.
Speed guide
Speed needs depend on how many people are online at the busiest moment and what they do. Streaming mainly uses download, while video calls, cloud backups and sending files rely on upload. Use this guide to size a plan, and remember that fibre is often symmetric while cable and DSL upload is much lower.
Browsing, social media and HD or 4K streaming on one screen.
Two people streaming and occasional video calls.
Daily video calls, shared documents and cloud backups.
Several people streaming, gaming and calling at the same time.
Large game downloads, home servers and uploading big files.
Ranges include headroom for several devices at once. Wi-Fi in large or thick-walled homes can limit speed more than the plan does.
Questions
Practical answers about filtering plans, finding the cheapest option and checking availability.
Filter by the connection your home has, fibre, cable or DSL, then open a plan and use the provider's postcode check. Only that check confirms availability, because two homes on the same street can have different connections.
Sort by lowest monthly price to see the cheapest plans first. Slower DSL and basic fibre plans cost least, but compare the total cost over your stay: activation fees, router rental and contract length can make a cheap monthly price more expensive overall.
Choose Monthly cancellable in the contract filter. These plans suit short leases and temporary stays, although they can carry a higher setup fee or monthly price than fixed-term contracts.
Some providers price a plan differently per network or region and only show the exact amount after you enter your postcode and house number. We do not guess those prices; use the provider's check to see your quote.
No. The search shows plans that exist, not what reaches your home. Availability depends on the connection in your building, so always confirm with the postcode and house-number check before ordering.
Put your shortlist side by side in the comparison to see speeds, contract terms and one-off costs together. For a single company's details, open its provider profile, and confirm your address with its official postcode check.
