The expansive rooftop terrace features a barbecue area, and there are plans to add a restaurant to the complex. Each unit comes with a dedicated bike storage, and for an additional fee, residents can access shared cars. Security measures include a staffed meeting point during specific hours, a security host, and continuous video surveillance.
The housing options consist of 143 furnished units and 423 unfurnished studios and 2-room apartments, each equipped with a balcony and bike storage. The apartments feature PVC flooring, wall finishes, curtains, and a picture hanging system. Kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, induction cooktop, combi oven, and wardrobe. The bathrooms are in excellent condition, and each unit has a designated space for laundry appliances.
To rent a unit, certain conditions must be met, including age restrictions (18 to 27 years), sufficient income from work or business (minimum gross monthly salary of 3.5 times the basic rent), and a commitment to contributing to the Startmotor community. The rental period ranges from a minimum of one year to a maximum of five years. The location near the vibrant city center of Hart van Zuid provides easy access to amenities such as the Zuidplein (public transport hub, covered shopping center, theater, library, and swimming center), Ahoy, and Zuiderpark.
Rental prices range from €715 to €1,025 per month, with additional service costs of €131 per month, and furnishing options available at an extra cost. Utilities are estimated at €95 to €100 per month, with a maintenance subscription fee of €6.15 per month and a security deposit of €1,000 or €1,500 for furnished units.
