Gerrit Jan Heemskerk Makelaardij o.g. has worked as a real estate agent for more than ten years, primarily in Amstelveen and Amsterdam. The agency has helped individuals, start-ups, families and expatriates buy, sell, rent and lease hundreds of homes and apartments. Having lived in Amstelveen all their lives, they know its streets well and have built a broad local network of potential buyers and fellow agents across the area and nearby Amsterdam.

When selling a home, the agency promotes it to a wide audience through Funda, VBO.nl, Huislijn and its own website. Its office and shop welcome hundreds of passers-by each day, and the agency also maintains a large database of potential buyers. The team aims to make the process approachable and well supported: the office staff answer calls and assist customers, while Gerrit Jan personally conducts viewings and handles negotiations in consultation with you, guiding the sale through to the notary.

The agency emphasizes expertise, independence and reliability, with a focus on achieving a strong sale result and building lasting relationships—many customers return. Gerrit Jan Heemskerk is a registered estate agent and appraiser, and welcomes prospective clients to get in touch or stop by the office for a cup of coffee.
