This self-contained studio is located on Deltaweg 1148 in the Roodenburgerdistrict of Leiden, on the tenth floor of the Omegaplants complex on campus Leidse Schans. The studio offers 24 square meters of living space, of which 22 square meters form the combined living and sleeping area. The open kitchen and private shower and toilet make the unit fully independent, so no facilities need to be shared with other residents. The space is delivered unfurnished, allowing the new occupant to arrange and decorate it to their own preference. The building is equipped with an elevator, and the studio holds an energy label A+ with collective CV heating. An internet and TV connection is also available.
The studio is part of campus Leidse Schans, a residential area situated directly next to Leiden Lammenschans station. On the campus itself, residents find a supermarket, a restaurant, a coffee bar and a snack bar within short walking distance. Two laundry rooms are available on site where laundry can be done for a fee. Covered and locked bicycle storage is located on the ground floor of the various buildings. The campus has been car- and moped-free since the autumn of 2022, though a closed parking lot is present where parking spaces are rented out to residents; parking and permits in the surrounding area are arranged through the municipality of Leiden.
Thanks to its position next to Leiden Lammenschans station, the studio offers direct access to public transport connections. The historic center of Leiden lies within walking distance, with its shops, restaurants, canals and university facilities. The surrounding Roodenburgerdistrict is a residential neighborhood adjacent to the campus. Students and PhD candidates form the target group for this type of housing, and the campus houses approximately 2,000 rooms let by DUWO. The combination of on-site amenities and proximity to the city center makes the location practical for daily study and living.
The base rent is €614.46 per month, with service costs of €43.21, bringing the total monthly rent to €657.67. The service costs include glass and contents insurance, while electricity, heating and water are not included. Water and heating are supplied through a collective arrangement with fixed annual costs plus variable costs depending on usage, and electricity can be arranged with a supplier of choice. Municipal taxes apply separately. A one-time fee of €2.42 is charged at the start of the rental period. Housing allowance may be possible for tenants aged 21 and older, subject to conditions.

Does the displayed rent include utilities and service costs?
Not necessarily. Luntero shows the price and cost details supplied by the listing source, but inclusions vary by property. Check the full cost breakdown on the original source before applying, including service costs, gas, electricity, water, internet, parking, and any one-off fees.
Which documents will I need to apply?
Requirements are set by the landlord or listing provider, not Luntero. The original listing or application form should give the definitive checklist. It may include identification, proof of income or employment, student documents, or guarantor information, but do not send sensitive documents until you have checked who is requesting them and why.
Can Luntero tell me the status of my application?
No. Applications are completed with the original listing provider, so Luntero cannot see whether your application was received, shortlisted, rejected, or invited for a viewing. Contact the provider through the details in your application confirmation or on the original listing page.
Can Luntero arrange a viewing or contact the owner for me?
No. Luntero does not own or manage the property and does not have a private contact channel to its owner. Use the original source button on the listing page to view the provider's application and contact options. If public owner or agency contact details are available, they are shown on the listing page.
Why do details sometimes differ from the original listing?
A provider may update or remove a listing after Luntero last collected it. The original source is the final reference for availability, price, conditions, and application instructions. If the pages disagree, rely on the source and report the Luntero listing so it can be reviewed.
Where do I find the original listing and application page?
Open the Luntero listing and look for the 'View listing' source buttons. They identify the platform the listing came from and open its original page in a new tab. Apply there; Luntero does not accept rental applications.
How do I report an unavailable, incorrect, duplicate, or suspicious listing?
Open the listing and select 'Report an issue'. Choose the closest reason and add any useful details. Reports help Luntero review its copy of the listing; for an urgent issue involving the application itself, also contact the original platform.
