Midwaystraat 14-B is located in the Eilandenbuurt in Almere Buiten, positioned near the A6 and A27 motorways and within walking distance of local bus stops and NS-station Almere Oostvaarders. The building is a modern, small-scale complex constructed in 2021 with a white rendered exterior and warm wooden accents. The complex comprises 21 apartments and was designed as an energy-efficient building without a gas connection. Solar panels are installed on the roof to supply common-area systems such as lighting, the lift, intercom and the on-site vehicle charging infrastructure.
The ground-floor apartment has a living area of approximately 85 m² and is arranged as a three-room dwelling with two bedrooms. The living room features a large sliding glass door that provides access to a loggia on the southwest side; one of the bedrooms also has direct access to this loggia. The loggia is an inward-facing balcony with an outer operable glazing system that can be folded open or closed, allowing flexible use throughout the year. All exterior glazing is insulating glass and the dwelling is fully insulated to current standards.
Heating is provided by an air-source heat pump that also has a cooling function for warmer months, in combination with whole-property underfloor heating. The ventilation system includes a heat-recovery (WTW) installation and mechanical ventilation. The apartment is delivered unfurnished and includes an internal storage room; storage facilities are provided either internally or on the external site depending on the unit. The dwelling is accessible directly from the parking area.
The fitted white kitchen is equipped with built-in appliances including a ceramic hob with extractor, combi-oven and a refrigerator with freezer compartment; the sink is fitted with a Grohe mixer tap. The bathroom is finished with large white wall tiles and anthracite floor tiles, and features a walk-in shower with a glass screen, a thermostatic shower tap, and a washbasin with mirror; fittings include Grohe and Villeroy & Boch products. Building-level provisions include elevator access, balanced ventilation, mechanical ventilation, fiber-optic connection and TV cable. A private parking space on the site is allocated to each dwelling and charging points for electric vehicles are provided on the parking area.
