About This Rental in Amsterdam

Modern 2-Room Flat for Rent in WesterparkWest, Amsterdam - Energy Efficient & Sustainable Living

This two-room apartment is located in the WesterparkWest residential area in Amsterdam, specifically within the "Woon- en Groengebied Sloterdijk" neighborhood along the Haarlemmerweg. The flat is part of a new development project completed in 2023, offering a contemporary living space of 46 m² on an upper floor. With a smart layout and modern finishes, the apartment features an open kitchen, one bedroom, and one bathroom, designed to suit a variety of residents including singles, young professionals, or a household of two. The interior is finished with white walls in RAL9010, while the kitchen is equipped with a plastic anthracite/black countertop with underlighting and a full set of ATAG appliances including an induction hob, extractor hood, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and combination microwave. The bathroom is fitted with Geberit sanitary ware, Grohe faucets, and a Zehnder design radiator, along with a washing machine connection in the storage area.

The flat is part of the sustainable WesterparkWest project, which comprises seven residential buildings offering a total of 552 apartments. All buildings are connected to a WKO system for regulated heating in winter and cooling in summer, and they have excellent ventilation with energy labels ranging from A to A+++. Solar panels on the rooftops provide energy for the general facilities, contributing to the project's sustainable footprint. Tenants will enter into a separate agreement with Unica for the WKO system, with details and conditions provided with the rental agreement. Bicycle storage is available under the complex, and electric bike batteries can be charged in lockers. Parking facilities are present, with a private parking space optionally available for an additional €175 per month plus a €15 service charge, though some properties include the parking space in the rental.

The location of WesterparkWest provides easy access to both urban amenities and green spaces. Westerpark is directly at the residents' doorstep, offering opportunities for picnics, sports, running, and outdoor relaxation. Numerous restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and shops are within walking distance, as well as public transport options including bus stops and railway stations. Within a 2 km radius, there are 9 public transport stops, 10 schools, 18 shops, and multiple parks and green spaces. The motorway, train, and metro are also easily accessible for travel beyond the city. Gyms, sports centers, healthcare facilities including pharmacies and hospitals, and various cultural venues are all situated nearby.

The rental terms require tenants to have a gross monthly income of at least 3.5 times the monthly basic rent, with the income being Dutch-sourced from employment, business, or retirement. Entrepreneurs must have been active for at least two years. The minimum rental period is 12 months, with an unlimited contract duration. The deposit is equal to one month's rent with a permanent contract, or two months otherwise. Sharing the apartment is possible if both occupants have their own bedroom. To be eligible for a middle-income apartment in the Basil buildings, a maximum income limit of €75,362 applies based on 2024 price levels. The property is offered in shell condition, allowing tenants to personalize their living space.

Frequently asked questions

Does the displayed rent include utilities and service costs?

Not necessarily. Luntero shows the price and cost details supplied by the listing source, but inclusions vary by property. Check the full cost breakdown on the original source before applying, including service costs, gas, electricity, water, internet, parking, and any one-off fees.

Which documents will I need to apply?

Requirements are set by the landlord or listing provider, not Luntero. The original listing or application form should give the definitive checklist. It may include identification, proof of income or employment, student documents, or guarantor information, but do not send sensitive documents until you have checked who is requesting them and why.

Can Luntero tell me the status of my application?

No. Applications are completed with the original listing provider, so Luntero cannot see whether your application was received, shortlisted, rejected, or invited for a viewing. Contact the provider through the details in your application confirmation or on the original listing page.

Can Luntero arrange a viewing or contact the owner for me?

No. Luntero does not own or manage the property and does not have a private contact channel to its owner. Use the original source button on the listing page to view the provider's application and contact options. If public owner or agency contact details are available, they are shown on the listing page.

Why do details sometimes differ from the original listing?

A provider may update or remove a listing after Luntero last collected it. The original source is the final reference for availability, price, conditions, and application instructions. If the pages disagree, rely on the source and report the Luntero listing so it can be reviewed.

Where do I find the original listing and application page?

Open the Luntero listing and look for the 'View listing' source buttons. They identify the platform the listing came from and open its original page in a new tab. Apply there; Luntero does not accept rental applications.

How do I report an unavailable, incorrect, duplicate, or suspicious listing?

Open the listing and select 'Report an issue'. Choose the closest reason and add any useful details. Reports help Luntero review its copy of the listing; for an urgent issue involving the application itself, also contact the original platform.
